(nee Rose) On Monday July 19, Sybil, very much loved wife of the late Robert, a loved mother of sons Martin and Nigel, mother-in-law to Jennifer and Cathy, a loving grand-mother of Jonathan, Kayleigh, Lucie and Marianne, daughter of the late Abe and Florrie. Funeral to be held at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel, on Monday July 26 at 10.15am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Tenovus, 9th Floor, Gleider House, Ty Glas Rd, Llanishen, Cardiff. Married: Beryl Brewer in Birmingham in (Jan - Mar) 1945. Harold was 24 and Beryl 23 years old. Beryl was born in 1922 and died in London, England on 11 April 1983 and is buried in Rainham cemetery plot N1 Row / Grave 11 20

In his youth Harold was a dance band leader. He became a  travel writer and wrote travel guides and also books on photography. He also worked for the British foreign office. His travel books included "Your Guide to Malta", "Baden Baden" and "Your Guide to Bulgaria". His photograph books included "Available Light Photography"
