Born: 1827 somewhere in Russia. As her husband came from Valkevish, Suwalki Province, Russia (now Vilkaviškis in south-western Lithuania) it is probably that she was born in the same district
Hebrew name: Toiba (טויבע) daughter of Reb Tzvi
Migration: Toby came to England with her family some time between 1872 and 1877 (age 44 to 50)
Married: Harris Rosenberg in Russia some time before 1856
Death certificate for Toby (Taube) Rosenberg. Cause of death was chronic bronchitis with bleeding into the lung and haemiplegia (paralysis on one side). Present at the death was her grandson Abraham Rosenberg (Abraham Rosenberg [1874 - 1944] was actually her great nephew!)
Toby's place of death was listed as 6 Elsworth Street, Cheetham, North Manchester, now a light industrial area

Tombstone for Toby Rosenberg. Her age is given as 73 years. "Deeply lamented by her daughters and family. R.I.P." The arched Hebrew text at the top reads –
אשה זקנה מ' טויבע ב"ר צבי נפטרה כ"ט תמוז תר"ס לפ"ק.
"An elderly woman, the lady Toiba daughter of Reb Tzvi, died 29th Tamuz [5]660"
