His surname at the time of his marriage was listed as Rosenberg / Rowe and it was formally changed from Rosenberg to Rowe sometime before 1933. In official documents he is listed as Harold Malcolm Rowe but was known as Malcolm Rowe

Kirkella Bridegroom

The wedding took place at the Singer's-hill Synagogue, Birmingham, of Sgt. Aubrey Sadofsky, Royal Signals, elder son of Mr and Mrs D. Sadofsky, of Davington, Westella-rd., Kirkella, and Miss Nadia Pinnick, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs B. Pinnick, of 16, Hampton-court, George-rd., Birmingham.

The choral service was conducted by the Rev A. Cohen, assisted by the Rev David Hirsch, of the Hull Western Synagogue.

The bride wore a tailored suit of off-white with a head- dress of lovebirds and net, and carried a posy of lilies of the valley. Her only attendant was Miss Nesta Sadofsky (sister of the bridegroom), who wore an ice-blue suit with brown accessories. The best man was Cpl. Harry Obrart, R.A.F., of London.
